7th performance of all plays on the big stage with subtitles
The National Theatre is placing increased emphasis on meeting the different needs of theatregoers. The 7th performance of all productions on the Main Stage are captioned, both in Icelandic and English! Shows with subtitles are suitable for people who don’t speak icelandic, as well as those who are hard of hearing.

How does it work?
Big screens are placed in the stands on either site of the stage. There subtitles are run both in english and icelandic.
